Study VR in Denmark!
You can apply now for the VR Summer School at VIA University in collaboration with EON Reality and the VR Innovation Academy.

Two of Denmark’s most renowned and well-loved brands, LEGO and The Royal House (Kongehuset; The Danish Royal Family), are the two business case studies announced for EON Reality and VIA’s innovative #VRSummerSchool, as it launches this year.

LEGO has been exploring and creating its own adventures and products in Virtual Reality over the last few years.

Their first experiments in world-building, education and VR began with a game created for Android and Daydream called “LEGO Brickheadz”. Since then, LEGO has pushed innovation in VR for wearable game hardware in their entertainment centers across the world, such as the LEGO VR Race experience in Manchester, UK.

The Royal House of Denmark is one of the most esteemed families – and international brands – in the world.
VIA University College is offering (in an educational context) one of the most unique opportunities to understand and develop VR ideas around Denmark’s most powerful brand, for budding developers and students.

During the three weeks, you will learn how to make VR in Unity, where you will be divided into three levels of difficulty depending on your existing skills (so you will fit right in). You will also learn how to facilitate the development of VR productions. Additionally, several guest lecturers from XR (Extended Reality) companies will talk with each group about what it is like to work professionally with XR technologies and what the next big thing will be.

Outside of the academic year, VIA University College typically offers a number of courses, programmes and professional development modules for students and lifelong learners. For those who want to study VR in Denmark, the #VRSummersSchool makes it easy to make progress and quickly gain knowledge in fresh and complementary areas of study.

In addition, EON Reality works alongside VIA University College through the year to run the VR Innovation Academy (VRIA).Applications are still open for the #VRSummerSchool, via the VIA University College website.
