IDC & VR Innovation Academy
Jeddah 21422, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The Interactive Digital Center (IDC) Morocco project is the result of a partnership between USAID, EON Reality, the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), the Agency of Digital Development (ADD), the University Mohammed V represented by the engineering school ENSIAS, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Industry. The IDC is designed to develop Augmented and Virtual Reality (AVR) solutions for various vocational skills/professions, education providers, and industrial companies in the region while also helping to grow Morocco’s digital economy. The VR Innovation Academy within the IDC will also train the next generation of AVR professionals at the UM6P in Ben Guerir.
The IDC will also provide access to state-of-the-art AVR technologies such as a new virtual showroom, development lab, and a hub for research and development of both products and applications — creating a center of technological excellence for Morocco and the rest of the Maghreb region.
