IRVINE, Calif., November 4, 2010 – EON Reality, Inc., the world’s leading interactive 3D software provider, today announced that M State (Minnesota State Technical and Community College) is utilizing EON Reality’s software to begin the creation and incorporation of three-dimensional interactive content into its instructional programs.

Some M State’s instructors are beginning to work with a 3D Real Time Developer to create interactive 3D content for various courses.  Ultimately, M State will use EON’s dynamic load capability for importing real-time interactive digital content into their e-learning courses as well as into meeting their in-classroom needs for engaging learners in more effective ways.  Such interactive digital content produces a virtual image that can be viewed and interacted with as either 2D or 3D.  The image will appear “virtually” as the actual, real object, and, then, such an image can be taken apart, studied, moved through or within and put together again – virtually!  For example, a student studying biology could see the image of a human body on a computer screen or other displays and with a mouse or joystick could identify all aspects of the body (cardiovascular, pulmonary, nervous system, etc.) and move through the body and view it in many ways.

“M State’s approach to digital content creation is an excellent way of facilitating the integration of interactive digital content into instructional programs,” said Marly Bergerud, Vice President, Education Development, EON Reality.  “It is critical in instructional content development to have the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) design the instructional component alongside a 3D developer who can then create and integrate the interactive digital content within a wide range of learning applications.  Given M State’s commitment to implementing interactive simulation-based technologies into instructional content, EON looks forward to implementation of their applications.”
