Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is one of the most forward-thinking academic institutions in the state of Mississippi. As such, it became the home of the area’s first Interactive Digital Center, an XR hub containing a wide variety of technological solutions as well as a VR Innovation Academy for students interested in programming.
How MGCCC is Using EON-XR
Through the VR Innovation Academy, MGCCC students are learning firsthand how to develop world-class XR applications for practical usage. This further benefits other students and faculty, as they are able to reap the benefits of the creations developed by VRIA students and put them to use both in the classroom and for remote studying.
