On Wednesday, May 20th, at the 6th Asian Leadership Conference in Seoul, Korea, Chairman Dan Lejerskar explained why Knowledge is a Human Right, and how EON Reality is making Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality based knowledge transfer available, accessible and affordable for every human on the planet.

Mr. Lejerskar asked Gilles Ste-Croix, Co-Founder of Cirque du Soleil, how Virtual Reality combined with his expertise in circus arts can be used to awaken curiosity for learning among young children.
« We can use what I do, Circus Art, to help children, » said Gilles Ste-Croix, Co-Founder of Cirque du Soleil. » He came to watch Mr. Lejerskar’s speech because, »I wanted to know how I could apply this [Virtual Reality] to what I do. »
Gilles Ste-Croix said he would level up with EON Reality and create a film for Virtual Reality headsets such as Oculus, for students to experience what it is like to walk on the wire. He also added that learning a challenging technique, will make them feel special.
« It works, because then they realize they can learn something special. You can see above and below, and you have to keep a balance, » he said. « You won’t hurt yourself, because it is using Virtual Reality, but you can learn how to keep your balance without the apparatus. »

Lejerskar began his career in 1985 at Volvo Aerospace as program manager for the Arianne 5 rocket program for the main engine rocket. He was responsible for the coordination and development between Volvo, MBB, Fiat and SEP. In 1998, he co-founded EON Reality and also headed RealityBUY.com, a company which developed interactive 3D focusing on development, content and application. The company grew organically to a peak of US$240 million. His awards include Most Accomplished Businessman for the Fastest Growing Company in Western Sweden, 1995-96; Fastest Growing Company in Sweden, 1996; Co-winner with the CEO of Volvo AB of Chalmers University of Technology Daleen Prize and Entrepreneur of the Year, 1997. Lejerskar holds dual Masters of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from Chalmers University, Gothenburg, Sweden.
