IRVINE, CA – June 25, 2026 – EON Reality, together with EON AI Ventures, today announced a new Spatial AI pilot partnership with Skills Group, one of New Zealand’s leading vocational education and workforce development providers. Through the partnership, Skills Group will deploy EON’s Spatial AI platform to 2,000 learners across its vocational education portfolio, initially piloting immersive learning experiences within selected programs including Electrical Short Courses, New Zealand Certificate in Intelligence (Level 5), Security micro-credentials, and Residential Property Management. The pilot will support AI-assisted learning, interactive simulations and scalable knowledge transfer in practical, industry-focused training environments, while establishing a pathway for a broader multi-year partnership.

At the center of the partnership is EON Genesis, a next-generation platform for creating interactive training environments. It enables trainers to transform documents and existing learning materials into narrated 3D learning experiences, helping reduce the time and complexity traditionally required to create immersive training content. EON Genesis also extends this capability further by supporting fully interactive simulations, allowing training modules to include 3D models, interaction behaviors, immersive environments, guided workflows, and scenario-based learning.

To complement the technical training experience, the pilot will also include EON SoftSkills, powered by Brainy AI Coach, which supports soft skills development across 70 languages, helping learners build capabilities in communication, leadership, customer service, teamwork, and workplace readiness.

The initiative reflects Skills Group’s commitment to innovation, learner success, and industry-relevant workforce development, supporting its mission to deliver flexible education that meets the needs of learners, employers, industry bodies, and government partners. By integrating Spatial AI and XR-based knowledge transfer into vocational training, Skills Group aims to help learners build practical capability through more engaging, accessible, and applied digital learning experiences.

“At Skills Group, training and development are at the heart of everything we do,” said Gwyn Thomas, Director Product, Innovation, Quality and International at Skills Group. “This partnership gives us the opportunity to explore how EON Genesis and EON SoftSkills can help us deliver more practical, flexible, and engaging learning experiences. We’re particularly interested in how immersive learning can help learners practise workplace scenarios safely before entering real-world environments. Our focus is on building capability that works for learners, employers, and industries across New Zealand, while keeping people, wellbeing, and workplace readiness at the center.”

The initiative aligns with Skills Group’s broader role as a full-service training and workforce development partner. With more than 30 years’ experience in vocational education and industry training, Skills Group works with businesses, industry bodies, government agencies, and learners to deliver tailored education and development solutions that maximise human potential and support productivity, growth, and lifelong learning.

“Skills Group is a powerful example of how vocational education can use immersive technology to prepare learners for the future of work,” said Dan Lejerskar, Chairman of EON AI Ventures. “With EON Genesis, trainers can move from static materials to interactive training environments, while learners gain hands-on experience through simulations that are engaging, repeatable, and scalable. Combined with EON SoftSkills, this partnership supports both technical capability and the human skills every workforce needs.”

By combining EON’s Genesis and SoftSkills technologies with Skills Group’s deep vocational training expertise, the partnership represents an important step toward more immersive, applied, and future-fit learning pathways in New Zealand.
