IRVINE, Calif., September 5, 2012 – EON Reality, the world’s leading interactive 3D software provider, today announced the use of EONCreator in the Eveil 3D Virtual Environments for Learning Project in the Trinational Metropolitan Region of the Upper Rhine. Eveil 3D aims to facilitate the dissemination of 3D as a new form of learning.

 Today, Virtual Reality (VR) technologies are widely used in the aerospace and automotive industries. VR allows for the immersion of users in a 3D world to facilitate the learning process and retention of information. The Eveil 3D project provides these technologies to students as an educational tool for language learning in schools. Fun and interactive, 3D involves students to a greater degree by immersing them in a virtual world. An educational tool dedicated to foreign language learning will be developed and tested by students in colleges, as well as training sessions that will be provided for professionals.

“As part of these trainings, we organize practical sessions to make the use of these new tools available to teachers. During these sessions, we use EON Creator to create learning scenarios integrated into existing educational projects.
