EON Reality UAE will focus on Augmented and Virtual Reality based knowledge transfer for vocational skills training and higher education.
IRVINE, CA, October 31, 2017 – EON Reality Inc., the world leader in Augmented and Virtual Reality based knowledge transfer for industry and education, in partnership with Emirates Advanced Investments Group (EAIG) and the Higher College of Technology – Dubai Men’s Campus today inaugurated EON Reality UAE, EON Reality’s first Interactive Digital Center in United Arab Emirates. This Center, which is co-located at HCT’s Dubai Men’s Campus, will serve the UAE market and will expand EON Reality’s presence in the Middle East. EON Reality has a long track record of success in the Middle East delivering Energy, Cultural, Education, and Real Estate applications to key regional clients.
EON Reality UAE will develop region specific content, localize existing EON Reality content, and help deploy the EON EON-XR Platform to regional enterprises and education institutions. The IDC contains a Virtual Showroom with over 16 different AR and VR systems, a VR Innovation Academy, and an EON-XR Development Lab. This Center is also a part of EON Reality’s Human 2.0 Initiative which leverages AR and VR knowledge transfer to aid humanity in coping with the massive job displacement and economic disruption created by emerging technologies.
As part of the Dubai Men’s Campus, the VR Innovation Academy (VRIA) will teach students the entire Augmented and Virtual Reality development process. The course is comprised of four months of coursework followed by five months of project based learning. The students at the HCT EON VRIA will create EON-XR content for their fellow students at HCT as well as work on real customer projects to bolster their portfolio.
