UNN will deploy EON-XR and EON-AI within classrooms, research labs, and simulation centers to support a wide range of academic disciplines. The partnership is set to accelerate UNN’s vision of becoming a globally competitive, research-focused institution that responds to the needs of society with world-class education and knowledge solutions.

A few days after signing the MoU with EON Realty, the 16th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Professor Simon Uchenna Ortuanya took over the mantle of leadership on August 11, 2025. Responding after his handover the new Vice-Chancellor stressed the preparedness of his administration to pursue innovation, transparent and transformative process through quality education (digital teaching and learning), entrepreneurship and through the development of human capital, thus aligning to the collaborative partnership.
