IRVINE, Calif., May 19, 2010 – Mats W. Johansson, CEO of EON Reality, the world’s leading interactive 3D software provider, conducted a tech talk at Eurographics in Norrköping, Sweden earlier this month on the topic of « Training and Learning in Virtual Environments. » The 31st annual conference of the European Association for Computer Graphics was organized by the Linköping University together with SIGRAD, the Swedish chapter of Eurographics.
Mats W. Johansson is a Virtual Reality pioneer and simulation expert with over 15 years extensive experience in the interactive 3D simulation market. In the presentation Mr. Johansson covered recent developments in product and process interaction solutions that are helping the world’s largest energy companies to effectively reduce training costs, enhance visualization and improve safety. He continued with an evaluation of the development of virtual learning in educational settings, presenting surveys that show how the use of virtual training can increase knowledge transfer and process retention.
Mr. Johansson finished with a 3D Stereoscopic demonstration of EON Coliseum, EON Reality’s new online multiuser technology platform where people can present their ideas, communicate complex concepts and collaborate in 3D using rich media such as 3D worlds, slideshows, videos, avatars, voice, chat and interactive 3D objects virtually from anywhere in the world.
