In addition to highlighting Virtual Reality’s current uses, Mats W. Johansson also explained the future career paths available in Virtual Reality to students looking into graphic arts, digital media, and coding fields. Virtual Reality is expanding at a breakneck speed and requires very much the same skillset that the gaming industry requires.

Following the presentations, EON’s Icube demonstrated its knowledge transfer value through vocational training applications, education applications, and edutainment experiences.

“We are excited to be working with LAHC because of many reasons.  The administration has proven to be innovative and forward thinking in their approach to provide their students with the skills necessary to excel in the emerging digital media of 3D and interactive technologies.  LAHC is uniquely positioned in a hotbed of industries that can benefit directly from Virtual Reality in training, marketing and product development. But most importantly, we are excited about providing the students who will be engaging in these courses.  Virtual Reality is one of the hottest trends in technology right now, and the industry will need people equipped with the skills to create applications for 3D and VR.  We expect through this program to find talented future EON employees, but also talented entrepreneurs who want to apply this skill to create jobs and businesses for others,” said Mats W. Johansson, CEO and President, EON Reality, Inc.
