LAVAL, FR, October 28, 2016 – EON Reality Inc., the world leader in Virtual Reality based knowledge transfer for industry, education, and edutainment, announces that two employees of EON Reality France, former EON Entrepreneur School students, will demonstrate their application in the International Virtual Reality Contest (IVRC) Finals in Tokyo. Their application, “A Night Stroll in the Alps,” won the top spot at the IVRC competition held at Laval Virtual earlier this year, which qualified them for the final competition in Japan.
These two employees, Thomas Salomon (Project Lead and Art Director) and Kevin Meal (Programmer), are part of a four person team of former EON Entrepreneur School students, who are all now employees of EON Reality. This team created a VR application that consists of a virtual visit to an alpine environment to discover the wildlife living there. “A Night Stroll in the Alps” stood out because of the technology used in the experience but also because of its unique setting and subject matter (the fauna and flora of the Alps mountains at night).
With very different backgrounds, Kevin and Thomas illustrate how accessible the EON Entrepreneur School is. The EON Entrepreneur School does not require a specific education or experience level in enter the program, only a passion for VR and AR. The program is an intensive nine months training for careers in Virtual and Augmented Reality ran by EON Reality France and IMIE. Students are immersed in a real-life entrepreneur environment. They are trained inside EON Reality’s offices in an English-spoken environment working on global projects. EON Reality is also committed to recruit half of students in training at EON Entrepreneur Schools in Laval and Paris.
