The collaboration with Dell will help to promote EON Reality’s mixed reality solutions around the world.
EON Reality, the global leader in Augmented and Virtual Reality-based knowledge and skills transfer for industry and education, is thrilled to announce the launch of a new partnership with Dell. The two companies will be working together to promote AR and VR solutions for academic and industrial facilities around the world, particularly by utilizing Dell’s potentially unmatched reach and ability to bring EON-XR to new potential users.
As the largest platform and library of AR and VR content for remote education and enterprise training, EON Reality will bring into this partnership its mixed reality solutions that have already helped millions of users learn, train, and perform better through modern immersive technology and spatial computing. The collaboration comes as the need for such services has never been higher, with many educators and businesses of all types faced with the reality that social distancing requirements could mean classrooms, lecture halls, offices, and training sessions will not be able to function normally again until late in 2021 or even 2022.
EON Reality’s EON-XR Platform allows users to partake in and distribute interactive AR and VR lessons and applications for classroom and workplace learning. With the ability to move models, assets and lessons to and from a Dell computer, ruggedized Dell tablet, mobile device, or headset, employees and students alike will be able to have full hands-on training from anywhere in the world with a stable internet connection. With over 21 years of experience in the development of mixed reality solutions for major clients — much of which can be viewed in EON Reality’s Vault — the forward-thinking company is excited to form this partnership based on Dell’s vast coverage of many new industrial segments as well as those in which the Irvine-based business already has a foothold, such as its thousands of use cases in healthcare, defense, and energy.
After announcing several partnerships and agreements with colleges and universities around the world to create more educational and training resources in various languages on EON-XR, the collaboration with Dell also serves as the most recent step in EON Reality’s mission to bring its flagship product to countless new users as the long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to unfold.
“As a potentially massive expansion of our Global Emergency Initiative, I am very excited to see Dell’s VR and AR team is joining forces with EON Reality. Our goal has always been to provide as much access as possible to the knowledge and hands-on experience that can only be experienced through Augmented and Virtual Reality, and partnering with technology giants like Dell is the next step to bringing that to an even larger audience. I am very excited to see where this wonderful partnership could go in the future.”

More information about the events as well as EON Reality’s new partnership with Dell will be available in the coming weeks, while interested parties can learn about EON-XR through EON Reality’s Resource Center.
