Design London has massively upgraded their Innovation Technology Centre and Simulator. With the commissioning of a new £850,000 facility and thanks to the support of IBM and Eon Reality, they now have London’s leading centre for 3D Stereo Visualization, a facility that is available for students, researchers and business.
Design London’s students and business partners of the Royal Collage of Art (RCA) and Imperial Collage will be able to develop their design and innovation skills and capabilities using the advanced technologies in Design London’s IvT Centre.
The centre is being equipped with the very latest design and visualization tools, from EON Reality, including 3D stereoscopic displays, multi-dimensional modeling and the most up to date concentration of digital prototyping and manufacturing capability. These amenities will support student projects, teaching programs and Design London’s research. It is also being made available to support Design London’s Industry and Institutional partners. The visualization capabilities will be the most advanced in London including a totally immersive computer Augmented Virtual Environment or EON ICube (C.A.V.E)
