EON Reality will be holding two webinars on November 21 and November 26 called “Helping Students Learn Through Augmented and Virtual Reality” and “Teaching in Augment and Virtual Reality” to show education professionals how new immersive technology can translate into the classroom.
Hosted by Dan Lejerskar, Founder of EON Reality, the webinars will reveal learning trends and how universities can take advantage of Augmented and Virtual Reality solutions to equip students with the skills to thrive in an increasingly digitalized world. The session also seeks to show how universities can effectively implement AR and VR learning technologies in their classrooms without hefty investments or being burdened by the weight of legacy platforms.
The series was conceived in response to the many questions posed many educators about AR and VR — many of whom have expressed interest in integrating AR and VR in classroom curriculum but have been impeded by the high cost of content creation or infrastructure.
“We want to correct these misconceptions about the technology and show that any institution can easily deploy AR and VR in their classroom next Monday,” Lejerskar said.
EON Reality previously hosted a full-day conference in partnership with one of Asia’s leading universities, Nanyang Technological University Singapore in April 2019 to discuss the future of education in the context of AR and VR.
Registration for the webinars is now open at www.eonreality.com/events.
