ELVERUM, NO, June 28, 2017 – EON Reality Inc., the world leader in Augmented and Virtual Reality based knowledge transfer for industry and education, inaugurated EON Reality Norway, a Norwegian Interactive Digital Center (IDC), in partnership with the Municipalities of Elverum and Hamar, Hedmark County, and Hedmark University of Applied Sciences to address local and regional development needs through Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) with a focus on security solutions. Over 200 delegates attended the inauguration of the state-of-the-art showroom and development lab in Elverum.

EON Reality Norway will provide much needed Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality infrastructure to the region to help local corporate partners expand their offerings in 360 degree video production, crisis training, and IT solutions. Also, the EON Entrepreneur School will train new Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality professionals to grow the local VR/AR economy and empower graduates to start their own VR and AR companies. The IDC will also aid in establishing and strengthening courses provided in Hamar and Elverum focusing on interactive media, entrepreneurship, and health technology as well as spurring regional economic development.
