Irvine, CA — June 12, 2026 — EON Reality, together with EON AI Ventures, the enterprise AI company behind the Genesis industrial simulation platform and EON’s Work Intelligence suite, today announced Genesis 3.1, a major release of its industrial simulation platform that converts standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ordinary photographs into interactive, hands-on training simulators. Genesis 3.1 moves the platform from a capable prototype to a production-ready product that enterprises can put in front of frontline workers today.
The release is the result of a rapid development sprint that compressed what used to be hours of authoring into minutes, while adding physics-based animation, multi-device delivery, and a structured learning loop that guides a worker from watching a task to performing and being assessed on it. The platform’s architecture, AI-powered authoring capabilities, and enterprise impact are detailed in the accompanying white paper, “EON Genesis 3.1: From Photographs to Full Industrial Simulators.”
What’s New in Genesis 3.1
- 8x faster authoring. Building a working model previously took three to four hours; the basic model is now created in under 30 minutes.
- Photo-to-simulation capture. New geometry capture builds 3D models from ordinary photographs — even partial images with no clean background — inferring what sits behind and inside an object.
- Real-time interactive animation. Components now move with their real behavior: valves rotate, fans spin, and smoke, particles, and physics bring procedures to life, turning a static model into a true simulator.
- Complete training loop. Every segment now goes beyond “Show Me” to “Let Me Try” and “Evaluate Me,” so learners practice and are assessed, not just shown.
- Multi-modal delivery. Simulations run across desktop, mobile, and XR headsets from a single build.
- Live across industry segments. Six of twelve target industry segments are already live, with demos embedded directly in the EON Enterprise Hub and new content added on a rolling basis.
Full assembly and disassembly procedures — moving and snapping parts through a complete sequence — are next on the roadmap and already in development.

“Genesis 3.1 is the moment our industrial simulator becomes ready for business. We can now take a customer’s procedures and a handful of photos and turn them into a working, hands-on pilot in a single session. Nobody else is doing this — and the need across heavy industry is enormous.”
— Dan Lejerskar, Founder & Chairman, EON Reality.
Why It Matters
As artificial intelligence absorbs more of the work that traditional software performs, the durable value for industrial enterprises shifts toward the knowledge they alone possess: how work is actually done in the field. This expertise — what EON calls Work Intelligence — does not exist on the public internet, so no general-purpose AI model can learn it.
Genesis is the on-ramp to capturing that knowledge. Paired with EON Reality’s FieldIQ and AssessIQ, it lets operators in oil and gas, mining, manufacturing, and other safety-critical industries convert hard-won procedural expertise into a proprietary, reusable asset — and keep it inside the company rather than letting it walk out the door as experienced workers retire.
Availability
Genesis 3.1 is available now to EON Reality customers and partners. Organizations can begin a pilot by providing existing SOPs and reference photographs of the equipment or procedure to be simulated. Live segment demonstrations and per-segment videos are published in the EON Enterprise Hub on a rolling basis.
