Happy #ThrowbackThursday! Our #TBT for today is actually back to yesterday, when Dave Ambler, a Sr. Artist/Developer from our EON Reality UK office, and Sean Kearney of the WorldSkills Foundation, presented at the official press launch for  The Skills Show 2013 in London. Our tag team showcased demos of our popular airplane engine AR demo as well as demos for the EON Ibench Mobile to various press members and intrigued attendees. With recent development workshops at our UK office  taught by subject-matter experts from WorldSkills UK, these demos offered a quick look at what will be premiered at The Skills Show in November.

About The Skills Show 2013

The Skills Show 2013 is aimed to inspire a new generation of young people to consider opportunities in skills, vocational careers and apprenticeships. It is set to take place at the NEC, Birmingham from November 14-16, 2013 and will celebrate the vital importance of skills to economic growth in the UK.  Up to 75,000 people, including primary and secondary school children, further education students and adult learners, are expected to attend the event.

Using hands-on experiences, The Skills Show hopes to inspire young people to reconsider the opportunities available to them, as well as providing information and advice from employers and careers advisers to spark the imagination and turn ideas about potential work opportunities into reality.
