IRVINE, CA, June 2, 2014 – EON Reality Inc., the world’s leading provider of Virtual Reality software, systems and applications, announces that Fujitsu, one of the world’s largest provider of IT and technology services, has selected to use EON Reality’s interactive 3D visualization software and EON Icube(TM) Mobile system to further strengthen its solution offering to the manufacturing industry.
EON Reality’s software suite enables the import of a wide range of 3D and CAD formats, and together with the immersive and interactive EON Icube system it will offer Fujitsu a compelling platform to deliver new services and solutions to its clients.
Fujitsu has long used 3D design data to raise the precision of its design and production quality verifications through the concept of “manufacturing without physically making something”. Through the same concept, it is offering solutions to customers in the manufacturing industry. To further enhance virtual verifications Fujitsu will begin offering EON Icube Mobile products that incorporate the latest Virtual Reality technology.
With this product, more realistic verifications are possible in a 3D space and they can be extended to encompass simulations of responsiveness, a realm that was previously beyond the reach of virtual verifications. Rather than being confined to the electronics products that Fujitsu designs and produces, these new software products have a wide variety of applications, such as in residential construction and building materials or medical care industries.

Over 12,000 invited IT decision makers experienced the EON Icube Mobile at the Fujitsu Forum 2014, Fujitsu’s largest annual event. The EON Icube Mobile was a focal point of the Fujitsu Forum 2014, which took place during three days in May,at the Tokyo International Forum in Japan. It was part of Fujitsu’s demonstrations around their products, services, and technologies.
The Fujitsu Forum had one of the more crowded booths, with a constant queue of five to ten people waiting for their chance to view the EON Icube Mobile.
