To optimize the digital economy, CommunicAsial EnterpriseIT, and BroadcastAsia are held in Singapore on 22-25 May 2017 to showcase the latest innovations that have an effect on business operations, city management by governments, and how consumers receive information. Linda Wee, Chief Executive of UBM SES, said that the exhibition will discuss digital transformation such as data analysis, cyber security, Internet of Things (IoT), robot, virtual reality, and advanced development of broadcasting technology.
“Five levels of what will be next in our digital future,” Linda said at the Marina Bay Sands Ballroom, on Tuesday (23/5).
The event will not only open at Marina Bay Sands, but also at Suntec Singapore, which will showcase innovations to support the latest digital business model. A new innovation of how humans in the future will consume the media.
On the occasion, Linda also inaugurated the newest brand ConnechTechAsia, an exhibition that will improve technology for every industry sector.
Singapore’s Minister of Communications and Information Yaacob Ibrahim said Singapore has a chance to develop a better digital economy. One of them with the development of skills and creativity of human resources in the field of digital economy.
He cited, Masturah Maidin, 27 years old, who improves the skills as a graphic designer. Minister Yaacob told Masturah taking the General Assembly’s User Experience Design Immersive course under the auspices of TeSA’s Tech Immersion and Placement Program.
“Now he works as a UX designer at EON Reality, and we also see other human resources development from IMDA [Infocomm Media Development Authority], SkillsFuture Singapore and Workforce Singapore that will launch a curriculum for ICT professionals later this year,” he said.
