The collaboration with IAV Hassan II will bring training and R&D to Morocco’s agricultural sector.
EON Reality, the global leader in Augmented and Virtual Reality-based knowledge and skills transfer for industry and education, announces a new partnership with the Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute (IAV Hassan II). The collaboration will focus on building a world-class XR Center to help integrate XR training along with research and development in the agricultural sector.
The Center — which looks to expand the XR presence in Morocco that began with the IDC Morocco project — will evolve training paradigms towards an AI-powered XR experience that drives further learning, training, and meaningful research for teachers, students, and professionals throughout Morocco and beyond. As part of its missions at the national, regional, African and international level, the IAV Hassan II is joining forces with EON Reality to break free from the current digital age and offer new high-value tools and services.
“Improving the training and digital tools available for agricultural research and workers like we are doing with IAV Hassan II will make an immediate and visible impact on the world as a whole. As an industry that we all rely on, we cannot let agriculture fall by the wayside technologically speaking, as modern XR training, education, research and development can all largely benefit those who need it most within the sector. This partnership will hopefully be the first of many ways we can help to breathe new life into one of the world’s oldest industries.”

The Center supports EON Reality’s overall commitment toward the Moroccan people through creating alliances and collaborations with local academic institutions. One of IDC Morocco’s primary missions is to expand the use of virtual and augmented reality within the nation and to incorporate innovative technology into their academic products. Additionally, this new partnership will help with creating long-term job opportunities for Moroccan youth and entrepreneurship opportunities within the digital economy while upskilling potential employees for the careers of the future.
The partnership will not only help to develop the XR Center, but also the integration of new technologies adapted to the needs of agricultural training, research and development based on XR solutions. The current plan for this 5-year agreement is to set up a center of excellence for the training of 5,000 students and 750 workers or internships.
