Irvine, CA – November 6,2026 – EON Reality and EON AI Ventures today showed a practical demo of its new EON Skill Packs: an expert’s step-by-step training lesson was used to train a robot, and the trained robot got the job right every time in testing.

The numbers

  • 100% success for the trained robot across 256 tests, with the part moved up to ±4 cm each time
  • 0% for the untrained robot
  • 0.8% (2 of 256) for a blind replay of the lesson’s animation
  • 0 pulls while a latch was still locked
  • 2,048 practice copies running at once on one NVIDIA L40S GPU
  • about 6.5 minutes of training, about $2 of rented GPU time

What happened

EON started from a real EON Genesis lesson, “Robot Payload Transfer & Latch Recovery”, built on EON’s S04 robot-and-satellite model. In 10 steps, a robot arm takes a payload out of a satellite, releases four latches and lifts it out. The lesson’s animation served as the expert’s example. EON turned the scene into a physics simulation in NVIDIA Isaac Lab and let 2,048 copies of the robot practice at the same time.

Copying the animation step by step almost never worked: move the part a few centimeters and the copy misses. The trained robot adapted. It found the handle, waited until every latch was open, and only then lifted. The run was rendered in Blender Cycles into a 1:49 narrated video.

From Handover to robotics

EON Handover captures how an expert does a job as a step-by-step recipe: the steps, the parts, the checks and the safety rules, approved by named people. Today those recipes train people through EON Genesis. Today’s demo shows that the same kind of recipe can also train a robot.

That trained skill, packaged with its recipe, safety limits and test report, is an EON Skill Pack. NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab support many robot types, from arms to humanoids, so the same recipe can be re-trained for the robot a customer chooses. Several Skill Packs together make one robot competent across many jobs.

For customers, the path is smooth: start by training people and improving safety, keep the experts’ know-how as an asset they own, test a robot in simulation, and bring in a robot of their choice when it makes sense.

What’s next, honestly: the demo used simplified zero-gravity physics (the scene is in orbit) and trained the approach, grasp, latch-release and lift steps in simulation only. Next: all 10 steps, a second robot body, and a first customer pilot.

“Robots already have strong arms and legs. What they’re missing is the know-how, and capturing know-how from experts is what EON does every day,” said Dan Lejerskar, Chairman of EON Reality and EON AI Ventures. “Today one of our training lessons trained a robot from 0% to 100% in minutes. Our customers’ experts can now teach people and robots from the same recipe.”
