SINGAPORE, 20 November 2014 – EON Reality and JTB hosted 60 Japanese students from i-Media school, Nigata Prefecture, Japan. Representatives from JTB include Sakai-san, Heya-san, Mr Choo and teachers.

It was the first time the students were introduced to Virtual Reality Technologies. The  program started with a presentation followed by a lunch session, office tour and hands on experience on various virtual reality technologies.

The experience was designed to introduce the value add of bringing in Virtual Reality for an effective, engaging and interactive learning experience.

The EON ICube system was the highlight of the day and students were able to experience learning in 3D immersive scenarios. Students were immersed in virtual environment to interact with dolphins underwater and play a Christmas themed game.

Students were intrigued by the Augmented Reality Applications which allows them to interact and visualize a pre-defined 3D model with a Tablet or Smart phone. The AR application tracks image markers in real-time to generate relevant 3D models in free space. Through the EON Interactive Mirror, Students was able to become an instant celebrity, try on virtual clothes or visualize different parts (Skeletal, Muscular, Circulatory, etc.) of the human body just by waving their hands to interact with the system.
