The partnership will begin an EON-XR delivery at some of Morocco’s top private institutions.
EON Reality, the global leader in Augmented and Virtual Reality-based knowledge and skills transfer for industry and education, announces a new partnership with Honoris United Universities, the first and largest pan-African network of private higher education institutions, to start an EON-XR delivery for its campuses throughout Morocco.
Focused on educating the next generation of professionals from all across Africa, Honoris United Universities is a perfect partner for EON Reality’s mission of upskilling and training workers around the world. As the company’s latest home in Morocco, the institutions will look to build off of the success EON-XR has already seen in the region combined with their existing experience with remote training and education.
“Partnering with Honoris United Universities gives us the opportunity to expand far beyond our existing bases in Morocco and truly reach the entire nation and key educational hubs in Africa. Bringing a delivery of EON-XR to a system of universities as diverse and expansive as Honoris is truly a one-of-a-kind opportunity for us to reach as many people as possible. I look forward to seeing how this partnership continues into the future.”
Dan LejerskarFounder and Chairman of EON Reality
The campuses of Honoris United Universities are EON Reality’s latest stops in its expansion into the EMEA region. The massive surge in popularity that the COVID-19 pandemic brought to the XR company has allowed the California-based business to assist colleges and universities around the world to improve their XR offerings. Now that much of the world is in the recovery process, that means new partners gain an opportunity to give their students a “hands-on” experience whether or not they’re able to physically come to the campus due to fluctuating health restrictions.
“Higher education is undergoing a fundamental reorganization, with a pivot towards new technology-based learning methods that accelerate and improve skills acquisition. We are delighted to partner with EON Reality. The EON-XR solutions will contribute to introducing interactive and immersive AR & VR content in the curricula to continuously improve the student experience. At Honoris, we are committed to investing in academic innovation and exploring new methods of delivery with a strong focus on student success.”
Hassan FilaliCEO of Honoris in Morocco
The implementation of EON-XR delivery will be introduced first in strategic verticals such as engineering, health and architecture and will be expanded to several institutions across the African continent.
