At the 46th annual meeting of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO), being held Oct. 3 – 7 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Siemens Medical used EON 3D Stereo technology together with four 50″ EON Artificial I™ plasma screen auto-stereoscopic displays controlled from an EON Interact™ touch free interaction device.

EON Reality, together with CMS prepared a presentation with background as well as showing the new device, the Artiste – an integrated dose-guided radiation therapy solution, floating in the air outside the screen viewed by over 800 people at the launch using glasses-free 3D stereo. “With the support of EON technology and outstanding staff we were able to put together a presentation like none before giving Siemens a crucial edge over competition using traditional presentation techniques. EON Artifical I and EON Interact are not future technologies but they are definitely here to make a significant impact for businesses today. I have rarely worked with such a devoted and competent team as EON and despite an “impossible” deadline they came through with flying colors,” said Diana Zimmerman, President of CMS and Siemens’ Tradeshow Coordinator.

“EON has always been pushing the envelope for experience based technology and with Siemens Medical taking this innovative step within the health care industry, showing a presentation that actually engaged people in a totally new way, it all comes together. Using proven technology such as EON Artificial I and EON Interact will actually engage potential customers and prospects and have them walk away from a presentation telling everyone about the unique experience,” said Mats W. Johansson, President of EON Reality, Inc.
