The EON Reality Tshwane IDC was given a platform to be part of The Africa Aerospace and Defence 2018 exhibition held at the Waterkloof Air Force Base in Centurion, Tshwane.
The air show brought together thousands of industry players in the aerospace and defense sectors, ranging from manufactures and innovators to buyers of high-level international delegations, government officials, and senior procurement officers. The massive crowd was a clear sign of the incredible rise in interest that Augmented and Virtual Reality technology has seen across Africa in recent years.
Positioned within the integral Youth Development section of the expo, EON Reality Tshwane’s booth featured a full-functioning demonstration area for EON-XR with several of EON’s most successful AR and VR applications. Catering to everyone from industry leaders to young children, visitors to the stand learned how Augmented and Virtual Reality can be effectively deployed for manufacturing and training both in contributing to employee skills as well as the financial growth of a business.
With approximately 450 participating companies from over 30 countries at the exhibition, the week-long event saw hundreds of technologies promoted while industry-wide collaborations were forged. For EON Reality Tshwane, the opportunity to share EON-XR solutions with potential future collaborators, business opportunities, and investors across Africa was invaluable.
