IRVINE, Calif., August 30, 2010 – EON Reality, the world’s leading interactive 3D software provider, today announced the formation of EON Kids2, a Joint Venture between Kids2, LLC and EON Reality, Inc. for the purpose of providing Education, Entertainment and Communication to the K through 12 Global Classroom.

One of the ways to accomplish this is to use 3D Virtual Technologies to bring the world into the classroom. “We can no longer expect students to have the same level of success using yesterday’s teaching methods as a means to understand today’s more complex theories and processes,” stated Thomas Smith, Executive Vice President of Business Development for EON Reality and a Member of the Kids2 Advisory Board. “Our methods are based on ‘Edutainment’ which entertains and educates the student at the same time. By entertaining the student, they will pay attention to the lesson; by paying attention, the student will understand the lesson; by understanding, the student will retain the information for a longer period of time.”

Learning a foreign language provides a great example of the value the technology has over other teaching methods, “In order to be successful in today’s business world, learning English is of prime importance,” according to Mr. Britton Lee, founder of Kids2, LLC. “Using the technology available to us today, we can provide U.S.-based English speaking instructors to any properly equipped classroom, anywhere in the world.”

Kids2 is in the process of launching a 3D Holographic “English as a Second Language” Learning Experience between the United States and Korea.” The value of having an instructor live from the United States inside the classroom in Korea will be readily apparent during our demonstration process,” stated Mr. Lee. “Just as exciting will be the demonstrated value of kids communicating with kids, learning each other’s cultures, and creating friendships both inside and outside of the classroom environment.”

“Our method supports Instructor to Classroom; Instructor to Student; Classroom to Classroom, and Student to Student real time live video experiences. We utilize the best technology available today and provide the best learning experience possible,” Mr. Lee stated. “We teach the language and we build friendships which support and enhance the learning experience in a way which can’t be replicated.”

Walking inside a Boeing 777 Freighter is only possible in a virtual environment for most of us. In fact, this experience was possible before the actual first 777 Freighter was built.

“This is just the beginning of utilizing virtual technology in the educational environment,” according to Mr. Smith. “The Kids2 system not only utilizes 3D technology as a learning experience, it teaches the students how to create 3D objects and use their creativity in demonstrating physical facts and processes in fields such as Physics, Medicine, Biology, Chemistry;  and virtually demonstrate their discoveries to the world.”
