Thirty forward thinking governments, academic institutions, and corporations have already joined the EON Human 2.0 initiative to help the 3.8 Billion people most at risk of becoming unemployable

IRVINE, CA, June 21, 2017 – EON Reality Inc., the world leader in Augmented and Virtual Reality based knowledge transfer for industry and education, announces the EON Human 2.0 Initiative, which will empower leaders around the world to combat the growing job displacement and joblessness created by technology disruption. EON Human 2.0 Initiative can empower people to grow beyond their current human constraints, democratize access to knowledge and create new exciting job opportunities

Technology disruption is causing a massive shift in the job market with millions of jobs rendered obsolete, whilst at the same time new positions and industries are being created. The pace of change is only accelerating. Many jobs that exist today will disappear in the next two decades. Along with this change in the job market, there is also a rapid expansion of the knowledge needed to be competitive in the labor force.

“The challenge is on two fronts: how to help the 2.5 Billion workers lacking ICT support who risk losing their jobs, becoming victims of artificial intelligence and automation: and how to help the 1.3 Billion students who are coming of age, in a world where they need to learn more with less time and less money. We believe that EON Reality has the solution to this challenge,” said Dan Lejerskar, Founder of EON Reality.

By ultimately empowering the 3.8 Billion people most at risk from AI and automation, EON Reality believes that with Augmented and Virtual Reality (EON-XR) technology these people can grow beyond their current learning constraints, through a symbiotic partnership between man and machine.

EON-XR elevates the communication speed between man and machine from the “speed of thumb” to “the speed of vision” by visually displaying artificial intelligence (AI) and internet things (IoT) knowledge through EON-XR applications. These applications can be used to accelerate learning, training, or provide contextual knowledge as needed.

EON Reality’s EON-XR Platform and knowledge transfer solutions will be a key part of closing the current knowledge gap. Virtual Trainer technology will help trainees learn faster and remember longer with experiential learning. Augmented Reality Knowledge Injections can provide real-time contextual knowledge powered by AI and IoT. EON EON-XR can fast-track knowledge encapsulation by reducing the time needed to create an EON-XR app from weeks to minutes.

“We see a future where the benefits of AR, VR, AI, and IoT, come together to propel human-computer interaction to new levels,” said Mats Johansson President of EON Reality. “A world where man and machine intelligence work together for mutual benefit and where technology empowers workers and students.”

To implement this on a global scale, EON Reality is partnering with governments, academic institutions, and corporations to establish partnerships for state-of-the-art Interactive Digital Centers. Thirty centers around the world have been initiated in, China, France, India, Singapore, South Africa, United Kingdom and other locations. EON Reality is engaged in conversations with multiple states and federal governments, to launch 100 such partnerships for Interactive Digital Centers by 2020.

EON Reality is the world leader in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) based knowledge transfer for industry and education. EON Reality’s success is tied to its belief that knowledge is a human right and should be available, accessible, and affordable for every human on the planet. To carry this out, EON Reality, since 1999, has developed the de-facto standard for Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality based knowledge transfer software that supports devices from mobile phones to large immersive domes. EON Reality’s global app development network, with twenty-two locations worldwide, has created the world’s leading AR/VR library for knowledge transfer with over 7,000 applications. Over 36 million people worldwide have downloaded these applications. For further information, visit
