IRVINE, Calif., September 30, 2010 – EON Reality, the world’s leading interactive 3D software provider, hosted 23 students and 2 staff members from the School of Engineering, Republic Polytechnic (RP) recently. The RP team completed a week long immersion program at EON headquarter in Irvine, California.
The visit objective was focused on introducing the students from the School of Engineering to the real life applications for the use of interactive 3D technologies.
The highlights of the visit were;
- Experiencing for the first time EON Reality’s Icube, which is a multi-wall (extendable up to 6 walls) 3D immersion system

- Visits to DVE Telepresence and Christie, partners of EON Reality
“All students in this study trip to EON Reality HQ, Irvine, were treated to an eye-opening experience of the industry applications of interactive 3D around the globe. This widens their previously limited view on the possibilities of interactive 3D and triggers them to imagine what the next-gen interactive 3D will be like,” said Koh Chee Keat, Programme Chair at the School of Engineering, Republic Polytechnic.
“It was very refreshing with so many insightful questions and interaction with the future leaders from Republic Polytechnic of Singapore. This type of international exchange brings a lot of value and shared understanding to all parties involved,” stated Mats W. Johansson, President and CEO at EON Reality.
