EON Reality attended the ‘Digital Campus and Learning Transformation 2018 Conference’, hosted by Clariden Global, that ran from the 14-16th of August 2018 in Singapore. The event is a regional educational conference that aims to teach educators how disruptive innovations including AI, robotics, drones, 3D printing, and various new apps are impacting educational institutions and their existing learning pedagogies.
EON Reality Singapore Managing Director Sridhar Sunkad and Senior Director of EON-XR Solutions, Ridwan Othman, discussed the importance of Augmented and Virtual Reality (EON-XR) in the classroom of the future. These technologies are paramount, to address the challenges in higher education, vocational training, and K12 to meet the demands of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Educators and academic institutions should consider implementing Augmented and Virtual Reality (EON-XR) into their schools in order to bring Classroom 3.0, the immersive flipped classroom, and EON-XR to campuses and enterprises worldwide. Delegates and attendees also visited the Singaporean office where they experienced EON-XR. A key part of EON Reality’s Classroom 3.0 vision for the immersive flipped classroom is the need to improve skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and resilience.
