Are you ready to jumpstart your career and gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of AR and VR?
Look no further than an internship at EON Reality. Our program offers the chance to work on real projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and make a meaningful impact within the company.
But what sets our internship program apart from others? For starters, you’ll be joining a supportive team that is dedicated to your success. Our mentors and colleagues will be there to guide you and help you learn as much as possible during your time with us.
But don’t just take our word for it – hear from some of our interns from the class of 2022 about their experience.
Mentorship and Guidance
Rachel Moon raved about the mentorship she received from her assigned mentor. She shares “I was really motivated by the mentors who looked after me during the internship. Senthilkumar, my assigned mentor, always challenged me to look for more opportunities and tasks that helped me with personal development. I was really able to see first hand how the structure of Business Development works and his experience in this field offered me a lot of guidance during my internship at EON Reality.”
Time Management
Chiamaka Nwarueze found time management to be the most challenging aspect of the internship, but took away a valuable learning experience from her time at EON Reality.
“The hardest and most challenging aspect of the internship was balancing it with schoolwork. It was difficult to focus on both at the same time, but the experience has been extremely rewarding. EON Reality taught me how to manage my time, prioritize my responsibilities, and make the most of the trust they placed in me.”
Always up to date on the latest industry innovations
Courtney Zhu enjoyed staying up to date on the latest industry innovations and keeping her pulse on the cutting edge technologies and adds, “I particularly enjoyed reading industry news from our CEO, Dan Lejerskar. Through these updates, I was able to learn about the latest developments in our product line and the newest technology that we are integrating into our products.
This helped me to stay informed and up-to-date on the latest trends and advancements in the VR/AR industry, and gave me a better understanding of our company’s goals and direction. I found this to be a valuable and interesting aspect of my internship, and I appreciated the insights and knowledge that I gained from reading Dan’s updates.”
Learning what makes a SaaS business tick
Alexander Lee gained valuable insights into the inner workings of a SaaS company . He shared, “The most valuable lesson for me would have to be learning how companies of this scale and with this type of product function. Of course I was only exposed to so much, but even so learning about how companies like this outreach, make connections, sell their product, market, develop, etc”.
Stepping out of your comfort zone
One of the most valuable lessons for Hilaal was the importance of stepping out of their comfort zone. She notes, “What I learned throughout this internship was to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. I would do sales calls and be afraid of how the person on the other side of the phone would react, or I would be scared of rejection. I learned that as people we grow through situations like that. It gave me the “so what, at least I tried’ mentality, which strengthened my character.”
A Safe Place to Learn
At EON Reality, interns have the opportunity to learn and grow through a wide range of experiences. However, having the right attitude is key to making the most of these opportunities.
Fernanda Cosby advises fellow interns to be vocal and not shy away from trying new things. She shares, “Don’t be shy, try to be outspoken and even though you might make mistakes, the internship at EON Reality is a safe space to learn and grow from those mistakes.”
