Manchester, UK, June 6, 2014 – EON Reality UK., the world’s leading interactive 3D software provider, is introducing the first “VR and Innovation Academy” in the United Kingdom that will help students to realise their potential and find the right professional path. It has been developed to support the EON Innovation Programme.
The EON Reality VR and Innovative Academy is the place where the natural entrepreneurial talent is recognised and valued. At EON Reality we are constantly looking for new innovative ideas that can transform what we do – creating new opportunities that become a reality and can change lives.
EON has created a new global ideas bank, Ibank, for commercial activities and Ebank for education. Any of our students can put forward ideas that they can grow into a lucrative business with the right support and mentorship from the EON Group of companies.
Moving forward, VR and AR is going to change the way that you experience and share your life with other people.
Billions of dollars are now being invested in Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality technologies.
For example, Facebook have just invested $2 billion buying Oculus Rift VR and Mark Zuckerberg says, “”This is really a new communication platform. By feeling truly present, you can share unbounded spaces and experiences with the people in your life. Imagine sharing not just moments with your friends online, but entire experiences and adventures.”
Keep innovating yourself!
The EON Innovation Programme is a twelve month entrepreneurship programme that seeks to nurture innovative Virtual and Augmented Reality ideas and bring them to market via EON Reality’s worldwide sales, marketing, development, and support network. The EON Innovation Programme mirrors the Academy’s 12-months (free of charge) course plan. Three months are devoted to solidifying the product idea and refining the pitch; the remaining nine months are devoted to securing an initial customer, perfecting the initial product, and developing the remaining aspects of the overall business.
With the flexible Academy schedule over 4 days a week the best students will be awarded with full time jobs at the end of the course and part time jobs in January and March of each year.
International job opportunities and other part time jobs in social media have already become available to some of the star talent from the 2013-2014 student intake. Current students projects completed utilising 3D technologies include gaming, architectural, engineering, automotive, entertainment, geographic (land), aeronautic applications.
“These young people are the future of our company – they grow and become expert 3D content developers and artist, or they become serial entrepreneurs,” said Ken Swain, Managing Director of EON Reality in the UK. “We are really looking forward to investing our time and energy with them to develop some innovative and exciting new applications and ventures over the coming months. We know from experience that these young people sometimes have positive, yet ‘crazy’ ideas that might sound off-the-wall but in fact turn out to be an amazing winner concept. So each and every idea is put before a panel of expert advisors and given the go ahead if they meet the right criteria. We cannot wait to meet next year’s team and see what ‘impossible’ ideas they make come to fruition.”
“A large part of EON Reality Ltd.’s success is due to the quality of our students and the work they do at our Academy. Over fifty percent are employed by EON Reality and continue to do incredible work,” said Alexandra Painter, Student Recruiting Lead for EON Reality.
