IRVINE, CA, May 30, 2018 – EON Reality Inc., the world leader in Augmented and Virtual Reality (EON-XR) based knowledge transfer for industry and education, and Regione Emilia-Romagna today announced the establishment of an Interactive Digital Center (IDC) in Bologna, Italy. This IDC, known as EON Reality Italy, will help build the foundation of a local EON-XR ecosystem and support the region’s economy by helping companies and industries to improve their productivity and safety.
EON Reality Italy will play an important role in the industrial upgrade strategy of the Region and will offer precious experiential training to students, businesses, and professionals through a regional rollout of EON-XR. Also, the IDC will become the Italian hub for the development of content and applications related to Augmented and Virtual Reality and EON-XR. The IDC also contains a VR Innovation Academy (VRIA) that will train new AR and VR professionals who will support EON Reality and other companies in their AR and VR endeavors.
