The event drew over 130 participants from both public and private sectors across Romania, sparking significant enthusiasm for the integration of AI and XR in modernizing education and workforce development.

During the event, Dan Lejerskar, Chairman of EON Reality, delivered a compelling presentation on “The Impact of XR and AI on the Future Workforce.” His insights into how immersive technologies can revolutionize skill acquisition and workplace efficiency resonated with attendees, highlighting the critical role these technologies will play in shaping a future-ready workforce.

Following the event, several initiatives have emerged:

• A pilot project between AJOFM and STEAM Park is being developed, with potential for a national rollout of AI and XR solutions in workforce development.
• Emanuel University of Oradea has shown strong interest in integrating these innovative technologies into their academic offerings soon.
• Multiple private conglomerates are eager to deepen their understanding and integration of these solutions into internal training and development processes.
