Yamato, the lead ship of her class of battleships built for the Imperial Japanese Navy was the heaviest and most powerfully armed battleships ever constructed and formally commissioned a week after the Pearl Harbor attack in late 1941. Thanks to EON’s EON-XR platform Teachers and Students can bring history to life and firsthand experience this World War II Japanese Battleship as it reappears in US waters in Augmented Reality.
This Japanese Battleship reappearance is reminding me of the famous Philadelphia Experiment which is an alleged a military experiment supposed to have been carried out by the U.S. Navy at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard where The U.S. Navy destroyer escort USS Eldridge was claimed to have been rendered invisible to enemy devices and then reaper again years later. Who Knows?
