Mars Longest and Heaviest Rover Is Assembled In EON-XR School Competition

The Mars rover was launched by an Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida, on November 26, 2011, and landed in Gale crater on Mars on August 6, 2012. Curiosity is about 3 metres (10 feet) long and weighs about 900 kg (2,000 pounds), which makes it the longest and heaviest rover on Mars.

EON is launching a competition to award academic institutions the Best AR/VR use in Education, Most Innovative Application in VR/AR in different categories (Vocational Training, Engineering, Science, Medical and Humanities).
Thanks to EON’s EON-XR Platform Teachers and Students can now assemble and explore Mars longest and heaviest rover as a part of EON’s EON-XR School Competitio, learning from home in VR.

Aircraft Mechanics Learn, Train, Perform and Are Assessed With Lifesize Helicopters In AR

The Projected Job Growth for aircraft mechanics and service technicians (2018-2028) is significant and Median Salary (2018) is $62,920. To become a helicopter mechanic, candidates must first complete a certified training program through the Federal Aviation Association (FAA). Significant work experience in the field is also required before someone is eligible to apply for FAA certification. This field experience can be significantly shortened by Getting Hands On Training and Assessment in Augmented Reality with Lifesize Helicopters.
Here is a practical example how EON is bringing teachers and students Lifesize Helicopters with the ability to learn, train, perform and being assessed around the globe thanks to EON’s EON-XR Platform that contains more than 870,000 EON-XR assets and the platform capability to create advanced Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) to Maintain Repair And Operate (MRO) helicopters.

Aerospace EON-XR Lesson about Concorde

Aerospace EON-XR Lesson about the Concorde developed by Bologna based student demonstrating the feature and functionalities of the British–French turbojet-powered supersonic passenger airliner that was operated until 2003. It had a maximum speed over twice the speed of sound, at Mach 2.04 (1,354 mph or 2,180 km/h at cruise altitude), with seating for 92 to 128 passengers. First flown in 1969, Concorde entered service in 1976 and continued flying for the next 27 years. It is one of only two supersonic transports to have been operated commercially; the other is the Soviet-built Tupolev Tu-144, which operated in the late 1970.
