Chairman & Founder

Dan Lejerskar

Lejerskar began his career at Volvo Aerospace as program manager for the Arianne 5 rocket program for the main engine rocket, where he was responsible for the coordination and development between Volvo, MBB, Fiat and SEP. In 1999, he co-founded EON Reality and also headed RealityBUY.com, a company which developed interactive 3D focusing on development, content and application. The company grew organically to a peak of $240 million. In 2009, he co-founded Greenwave Systems, a company which accelerates Internet of Things with a software and services platform that enables managed services simply, affordably and at scale. He helped grow that company organically to a $190 million value. His awards include Most Accomplished Businessman for Fastest Growing Company in Sweden, Co-winner with the CEO of Volvo AB of Chalmers University of Technology Daleen Prize, and Entrepreneur of the Year. He has been selected to speak in the capacity of a VR expert to the Asian Leadership Conference in 2015 and 2016.

Lejerskar holds dual Masters of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.

Mats Johansson

As Co-Founder and President, Mats has developed partnerships and business with many leading companies worldwide such as Microsoft, HP, Nvidia, Atlas-Copco, Suzuki, Lexus, Boeing, Cornell University and Imperial College. He also played a key role in the EON Reality’s rapid growth and is widely recognized as a leading innovator in 3D interactive simulation technologies after spending over 20 years in the field. Mats specializes in strategic issues surrounding the development and transition of EON’s applications, particularly in the aerospace/defense, Education, Energy and Manufacturing sector. He has been regarded as a subject matter expert and has been the program manager/consultant for many different projects, such as Volvo Car engineering analysis, as well as Oil and Gas simulation projects in the North Sea.

Mats earned a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University and an MBA in International Business Administration from Gothenburg School of Business.

Executive Vice President

Anna Lejerskar

Anna Lejerskar is EON Reality’s Executive Vice President of Business Development. She graduated from Russian University of People’s Friendship with a masters degree in hospitality. Mrs. Lejerskar has been the driving force behind EON Reality’s outreach to Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East through the establishment of the EON Learn for Life Program, EON World Heritage Initiative, and the KnowledgeBit Initiative. These programs, along with her work in CIS countries, have helped grow EON Reality’s presence globally. Mrs. Lejerskar has extensive international business experience and she is fluent in Russian, Latvian, Italian, and English.

Jan Kjallstrom

Jan began his career 1997 by heading the VR content development at Yokohama VR Center in Japan and developed one of the worlds first 6-degree of freedom (6DOF) Virtual Reality Excavator Training Simulator for Komatsu, Japan. Since then he’s been responsible of all global software and hardware systems development including Virtual Reality Icube, Interactive multi-user Dome system, mobile VR and AR applications and EON Reality’s own software platform, EON Professional.

Jan is currently leading the global Product Development that is spread around the globe at offices in Sweden, UK, France, Singapore, Australia and US. The latest development under Jan’s leadership is the AVR Platform. It’s a scalable, cloud based, Software as a Service AR and VR Platform that provides the core features needed for educational institutions and enterprises to build, deploy, and scale knowledge transfer applications.

Jan specializes in VR and AR innovation and currently holds 5 approved patents and many more pending. He holds a Masters of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.

Chairman of EON Education

Bertil Andersson

Professor Andersson uses his lifetime of experience of working in institutions of higher learning and research to help guide EON Reality in building stronger relations with academia and developing solutions that solve the needs of educational institutions. He is a prominent biochemist and won the Wilhelm Exner Medal in recognition of his research in biochemistry. He joined NTU as its first Provost in 2007, and in 2011 was appointed President. During Andersson’s stint as President, NTU moved from 74th position in 2010 to 11th in 2017 in the QS World University Rankings leadership, making it the highest ranked Asian university.

Prof. Andersson has been a leading proponent of the flipped classroom at the university level, and its adoption has been part of NTU’s meteoric success. In working with EON Reality, Prof. Andersson is looking to evolve the flipped classroom into “Classroom 3.0.” which blends e-learning, moocs, and distance learning with experiential learning technologies such as EON Reality’s AVR Platform. Additionally, Andersson will advise our network of Academies and help guide its future development.

Chief Learning Officer

Peter Looker

Peter Looker, PhD, is Chief Learning Officer for EON Reality. Formerly an Associate Professor of Higher Education in Australia, he worked for 10 years as Head of Teaching and Learning at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has won several teaching awards (institutional and national) and served as a member of the Singapore Ministry of Education Expert Panel for its Tertiary Research Fund. His keynotes, conference papers and publications have been on the pedagogy of new learning spaces, student assessment and cross-cultural education. He has been employed as an educational consultant in Vietnam, Hong Kong, Brunei, India, and Malaysia, and remains actively involved in the editorial boards of several international journals for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
Managing Director, Singapore

Sridhar Sunkad

Sridhar received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from BMSCollege, India. He then studied for his master program at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg Sweden.

In 1999, he joined EON Reality as a founding team member in Irvine, California. From 2003 till 2007, he was based in Chicago, driving the Midwest accounts along with managing the channels growth for Asian markets. Since 2008, Sridhar has been based in Singapore managing the subsidiary operations. Into 2020, Mr. Sunkad has led the EON Singapore operations with a successful track record of providing leadership and vision over the last 12 years. He is responsible for overseeing EON’s APAC markets along with R & D charter at Singapore office.

Global Network Director

Brita Kjallstrom

Brita joined EON Reality in 2001 and worked for many years as the Global Marketing Director and managed and coordinated all marketing, events, campaigns, advertising, research, digital marketing, and promotional activities. Brita has the last couple of years taken a more active part in the setup of Interactive Digital Centers and VR Innovation Academies around the globe and as Global Network Director, she now plays a key role in the development of the company in new territories and the establishment of strategic partnerships.

Brita holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Gothenburg University, Sweden and during her studies she also focused on international relations, English, and East and Southeast Asian studies.

Jordan Richardson

Jordan studied art and computer science at the University of Maryland, College Park before moving out to California to start his career. Since then, he has developed his digital design skills at various creative marketing agencies in the Southern California area - moving up through the ranks to Art Director. Jordan has a wide skill-set from web and UX/UI design, to videography and motion graphics.

In 2014, Jordan co-founded the Meetup group Orange County VR, where he was able to organize and host many VR-focused hackathons and demo events. In 2016, he joined the EON Reality marketing team as Interactive Director. Having revamped the company's brand and web presence, Jordan began getting involved in the design of the company's software platform. In 2018, he was promoted to Creative Director and is now responsible for the UX design of the company's XR platform.

John Gaeta

John Gaeta is an inventor, innovator and an Academy Award-winning designer. He is best known for his work on the original Matrix trilogy where he explored first of kind media formats such as Bullet Time, Virtual Cinematography and Volumetric Capture. These approaches foreshadowed today’s “XR” (Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality, Holo Cinema) platforms.

John Christopher Gaeta was born in New York and as a child lived in eastern Long Island.

He graduated from New York University (Tisch) and for a time lived in NYC. where he worked for the Saturday Night Live film unit. It was during this time that he was first introduced to multi media arts, animation, holography and culture.

From 1994-1998 he worked as a camera assistant for The Trumbull Company whose founder designed the visual approach to 2001, Blade Runner as well as invented new formats including Showscan and Immersive Simulation Rides.

From 1998-2008, he was a principal creative collaborator with the Wachowski siblings on multiple cross platform projects including the Matrix Trilogy, Speed Racer and others.

From 2009-2012, he formed a stealth development company, Float Hybrid, that exclusively worked with Microsoft (“Analog”) which incubated the Kinect and the Hololens initiatives. This period of time involved extensive creative research into the boundaries of human interface (sensory) as well as pioneered “interactive holograms”.

In 2012 he joined Lucasfilm at the onset of Disney's acquisition. His charter was to work on “disruption” and was directly linked to the new Star Wars conceptual “visualist” group, the story group, the advanced real time graphics development group, ilm research and Disney Imagineering.

In 2015 John co-founded Lucasfilm’s Immersive Entertainment division: ILMxLAB and established its mission to “Develop, Produce and Release premium, story based Immersive Entertainment Experiences for Star Wars and other imaginative universes”. During his tenure there he served as its overall Executive Creative Director, focusing on original and experiential content across multi platforms. xLAb collaborated with groups and external companies such as Google, Apple, Facebook/Oculus, Epic Games, Disney Imagineering and Research, others.

In October 2017, he joined Magic Leap as SVP Creative Strategy to develop roadmaps and northstar initiatives (future platform, future form of content). Of primary note was his origination and establishment of the Magicverse. As well, he established an “imagineering for immersive” research group that created advanced proof and prototypes covering areas such as spatial computing for smart cities, xr co presence/telepresence, mixed reality cinema realism.

Today, 2020, he provides strategic advisory for some of the most progressive XR platform companies in the world.

Rikard Steiber

Currently running US operations for Autonomous Electric Transport company Einride. Former President of Viveport and SVP of Virtual Reality at HTC, built Viveport which is the world’s first and only “Netflix of VR” subscription service live in +60 markets for VIVE, Oculus, Windows and Wave VR devices. Before joining HTC, Rikard successfully built up several international businesses in Video on Demand, YouTube MCNs and eSports, as the CEO for MTGx and Chief Digital Officer at Modern Times Group. At Google, he was Global Marketing Director of Ads, Mobile and Social Advertising and prior to this ran marketing for all Google’s products in Europe. He co-founded Scandinavia Online (AOL of Nordics) and built Xlent Strategy Consulting. Rikard is the Founder of Europe's largest Women in Tech event and community. He is a future Astronaut with Virgin Galactic. Rikard has MSc from SDA Bocconi (Italy) and BSc from Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden).
