The new partnership delivers EON AI Assistant and more to the Chilean university’s students and teachers.

IRVINE, CA, March 17, 2023 – EON Reality, Inc. (“EON Reality”), a global leader in Virtual and Augmented Reality (“XR”)  industry and education solutions powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), announces a new partnership with University of the Andes to bring cutting-edge Spatial AI technology to its students and faculty in Chile.

Using EON Reality’s AI-powered XR solutions, such as EON AI Assistant, University of the Andes aims to help its students learn faster and retain information longer thanks to the immersive and interactive experiences. At the same time, the new Spatial AI-based features of EON Reality’s suite of offerings will allow professors and instructors to save significant time and effort when crafting their own lessons.

EON Reality’s innovative solutions combine AI and XR with the world’s largest library for learning (containing over 6 million assets) and an AI-based environment for the automatic development of new content — both for instructors and students alike. Throughout this learning and teaching experience, EON AI Assistant will provide support and break down barriers for creation, distribution and consumption of information.

Located in Bogotá, University of the Andes is generally considered to be the top private research university in Colombia and one of the best in all of Latin America. Since its 1948 founding, the university has primarily focused on research-based sciences, ranging from social sciences to mathematics, engineering and physics. With nearly 25,000 students, the university will also be able to use EON Reality’s solutions across a multitude of topics. Because of this diversity, the partnership will also allow EON AI Assistant to show how it can help users to both learn and teach regardless of subject.

“We are particularly excited about working with University of the Andes, because it’s a partnership that can realize the potential of how transformative Spatial AI and EON AI Assistant can be,” says Dan Lejerskar, Founder, CEO and Chairman of EON Reality. “I truly believe that our new AI modules can be the defining solution for many of our existing and upcoming partners, and a school like University of the Andes is a perfect use case for that success.”

One of the key features of EON Reality’s new AI-powered technology is the use of Spatial AI, featuring a full-bodied avatar that can see, hear, and interact with the world around it.. This AI-driven avatar can show, tell, and teach about various topics using XR demonstrations, and can also guide and assist users in real-world tasks while providing real-time feedback. Additionally, Spatial AI provides a unique layer on top of existing AI-based language models — one explicitly trained with specific information for each segment, initially focusing on academic studies.

As a result of the culmination of years of work with global enterprises and world-class academic institutions, EON Reality’s solutions are the primary products and content delivery vehicles for AI-powered XR education and industry solutions. EON Reality’s partnership with Fullerton College will provide students and faculty with access to these solutions so that they may provide immersive experiences that will push education forward on every level.
