With over 250 leaders in attendance, the audience has the opportunity to network, share knowledge and learn about global skills issues.

Through international competitions held every two years, WorldSkills attempts to raise awareness to the opportunities that exist in skilled professions with the intent of encouraging youth and their parents and teachers to explore career opportunities in skilled trades, skilled professions and high technology. They gather together from around the world to compete before the public in the skills of their various trades and test themselves against demanding international standards. They represent the best of their peers drawn from regional and national skill competitions held currently in 67 countries/regions.

A massive stream of students experienced virtual florist training, jet engine training, aquarium etc. when visiting the multi-sided immersive environment, EON Icube Mobile. 

Two interns from the ITE Innovation Lab in Singapore and WorldSkills Web Design Champions Wouter Niekus (Netherlands) and Natã Barbosa (Brazil) have developed an interactive, Virtual Reality training application to be rolled out in new Floristry courses at ITE later this year. After an initial research and testing period, Wouter and Natã have now started development and testing for the EON Reality kit through which the new training courseware will be run.
