IRVINE, CA — November 5, 2025 — EON Reality, the global leader in Artificial Intelligence-powered augmented and virtual reality-based knowledge transfer for industry and education, proudly recognizes the achievements of the Living Lab VR@UO, an innovative initiative of the University of Oradea. Led by professors Adriana Grava and Cristian Grava, the Living Lab VR@UO team harnessed the impressive talent of six outstanding Electrical and Computer Engineering students to create immersive virtual reality experiences for the European Researchers’ Night event. The team delivered engaging and interactive presentations that showcased the transformative potential of VR technology in education and research.

These VR experiences were crafted using EON-XR, the leading AR and VR software, to breathe life into academic theories and concepts, making them easily understandable and enjoyable for students of all ages. The topics covered were far-reaching and diverse, encompassing fields such as engineering, healthcare, physics and sports.
One of the standout experiences allowed students to interact with simulations of Airbus A350 engines and 3D printers, bringing intricate engineering principles to life. Another involved a unique exploration into the world of electrical engineering, highlighting concepts like bond graph construction, voltage & current measurement. Adriana GRAVA, Associate Professor, expressed, “Our team worked together with students to develop personalized applications in electrical engineering. Our students not only constructed their own electrical diagrams but also simulated their semester-long activities. The interactive nature of these experiences has transformed our classrooms into captivating virtual laboratories.”
Under the banner of Living Lab VR@UO, an initiative of the University, a dedicated team of 6 outstanding Electrical and Computer Engineering students, collaborated to create engaging presentations using 7 Meta Oculus 2 glasses.
