We see a significant opportunity both in Kyoto and the wider area for our EON-XR solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of local businesses and schools.”The VR Innovation Academy will conduct educational training programs led by international EON-XR experts and also provide access for local businesses and entrepreneurs to implement effective EON-XR solutions as part of the Industry 4.0 movement. The VRIA will also offer opportunities for local colleges and universities to get access to the latest EON-XR solutions for both academic and vocational training.
“We are extremely honored to announce to launch the VR Innovation Academy in Kyoto with EON Reality, the world leader in the EON-XR-based knowledge transfer for industry and education and Sanko Gakuen, the expert in domestic educational business, which will have also high affinity with our business objective of developing human resources capable of the Industry 4.0 revolution. We are looking forward to expanding our business fields, not only developing engineers capable of EON-XR but also providing a complete EON-XR platform of software, systems and applications for the industry and education markets as one of the authorized distributors of EON Reality in Japan, which will also contribute as a prompt solution for both serious shortage of workers and development of the next generation in Japan.”
As a leading manufacturing city, Kyoto has integrated its history of traditional industry with modern advanced technology to transform the meaning of the word “craftsmanship.” When the VRIA launches in Spring 2020, it expects to have a full “triple helix” of cooperation for industry, government, and academia from the entire Kyoto Prefecture.
